how to prepare fish in grated cocunut or meen peera pattichathu

Fish in grated Coconut (Meen peera pattichathu)
1. 250 gms fish cut into small pieces
2) 1 cup grated coconut
3) 2 dsp. Onion thinly sliced long ,1 tsp. Ginger chopped fine, 1 dsp. Green chillies sliced, ½ tsp. Garlic
4) 2 dsp. Tamarind water

Soften the grated coconut by squeezing it and then mix with the ingredients of the third item and fish pieces. Sprinkle the tamarind water and if necessary add more water to cook the fish. Let it simmer on slow fire and cook till all the water is absorbed.
