Ingredients
1. chicken : 1 kg
2. turmeric powder : ½ spoon
3. chilly powder : ½ spoon
4. salt : to taste
Method
Marinate chicken in 2, 3, & 4. Keep it for half an hour and fry in oil till it is half cooked.
Step two
Ingredients
5. onions : 2 big, cut into small square pieces
6. ginger : one handful, cut into small square pieces
7. ginger garlic paste : 1 spoon
8. chilly powder : 1 table spoon
9. kashmir chilly powder : 1 table spoon
10. tomato puree : 2 table spoons or two tomatoes peeled off.
11. soya sauce : 1 spoon
12. vinegar : 1 spoon
13. coriander leaves chopped : 1 cup
14. butter : a small piece
Method
Heat up a pan, keep on low flame and fry items 5 & 6 in oil, respectively till it become brown.
Add item 7 and fry. To this add items 8 & 9 and then item 10 and stir well.
When the gravy is done, add half a cup of water. When it boils add fried chicken pieces,
close with a lid and keep it on low flame to cook. Finally add items 11 & 12. Decorate with coriander leaves & butter on top of the curry. Serve hot with fried rice / chappathi / battura / nan.
