ingredients
1. fish sliced into small pieces- 1 kg
2. small red onion (sliced)- 1/2 kg
3. coconut oil- 500 gms
4. vinegar- 500 gms
5. garlic (sliced long)- 200 gms
6. ginger (sliced long)- 100 gms
7. fenugreek- 4 tsp
8. mustard- 3 tsp
9. chilli powder- 3 tsp
10. salt to taste
11. curry leaves- as required
method
Fry the fish and drain. In the remaining oil, crackle mustard and add fenugreek. Then saute curry leaves, ginger, garlic and small onion. Add chilly powder and fried fish. Stir well. Add vinegar. Let it boil once more and remove. Cool and bottle.
